Once again we find ourselves without Justin Wasson. In his absence Mike & Bruce chat a bit about how this new GI Joe movie looks as if was based on a cartoon of some sort. It’s the first part of our recap/review of Gem City Comic Con 2012 in which Mike over thinks brain dead cattle, Larry Hama shows up (but only in spirit), we discuss the many death’s of Paul Lynde, create a Green Lantern/Hulk (SMASH WILLPOWER!) as well a crossover between Frasier & Futurama!

We waited 30 episodes to get it right people! This one is totally worth listening to… mostly. If nothing else to find out who the Queen of the Diabetes Fair was.

As of today, right now, I’m taking a 6 month break from comics! Not making them, but consuming them.

Some other things happen in the podcast as well… We talk about Gem City Comic Con, Justin’s commission work, digital distribution, selling illegal prints & how the new Spider-Man movie looks more like a fan fiction film!

This episode: Bruce laughs at inappropriate moments to re-leave tension, the guys discuss the emotional significance of Justin’s work, they mention Jar-Jar/Nazi & other posters that would never sell and Justin makes the world greatest slip-up when he says “Thanks for everyone”. And now for a sample of some of the interesting but useless things you will find out in our (almost two hour) exploration of cartoon mutants… In the comic version of the fight between Storm and Callisto, they dueled with knives instead of stave’s! Also the creators of the show have also altered the way Jubilee joined the X-Men. In the comic books, Jubilee met Dazzler, Storm, and Rogue in a shopping mall. In the issue, she made her way through Gateways portal back to the X-Men’s base in the Australian Outback. As featured in Uncanny X-Men #244! And lastly, in the comic books, the Sentinels were introduced in X-Men (v1) #14. In addition, were originally shown to be only slightly bigger than a normal human!

This has all been a lie.
